I am different, not less

Hello, my name is Leslie.

I am 9 years old and was diagnosed with a severe case of scoliosis at the age of 1.

I have had multiple surgeries, and those are really hard to deal with. I feel that I am a hero
because of my strengths even though I have this condition.
I have metal rods in my back and it's so uncomfortable to sleep on. I can't gain much weight so I am very, tiny but my mommy says I am super smart!

I am a very friendly, happy, and simple girl with an exceptional condition who loves life and will continue to be supportive towards others showing kindness and empathy.
